When you arrive to stay with us, you can collect your keys from the hotel reception. Our reception is open 24/7.

The distance from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Hotel Matts is approximately 30 kilometers. There is a direct train connection from the airport to Helsinki city center main railway station, where you can take a metro to Hotel Matts. The western exit of Matinkylä metro station leads directly to the hotel’s main entrance.

In addition to the train, bus line 600 and Finnair City Bus operate between the airport and Helsinki city center. From Kamppi, near the Helsinki central railway station, you can reach Matinkylä on several bus routes. Check the schedules for public transport using Helsinki Region Transport’s (HSL) Route Planner.

Hotel Matts is conveniently located near Länsiväylä and Ring II. If you are arriving by car, you can use our parking garage’s customer parking spaces, subject to availability (maximum height 2.4 m).

The entrance to the parking garage is at Suomenlahdentie 5 (the entrance to the Iso Omena shopping center parking garage). When entering, follow the P1 lane and turn at the roundabout according to the hotel sign. Hotel Matts’ parking spaces are located on level K2.

If you book your accommodation directly from our online store, you’ll receive 1 free day of parking (1 car per reservation).

How to drive to Hotel Matts’ parking garage

Hotel Matts parking garage is equipped with EV charging points. You can charge your vehicle for an additional fee.

Starting the Charging Process
Connect the charging cable to the station and your vehicle.
Start the charging session using the Taskuparkki app. The cable will lock automatically.

Stopping the Charging Process
End the charging session using the Taskuparkki app. The cable will unlock.
Disconnect the cable from your vehicle and the charging station.
The time-based fee continues until the charging session is ended in the app. Please remember to pay for parking separately according to the regular pricing.

Breakfast is included in the room and apartment rates. A generous and varied breakfast buffet is served at Restaurant Freja, located on the first floor of the hotel.

Pets are welcome to stay at Hotel Matts. Please inform us at the time of booking if you are bringing a pet so that we can reserve a pet-friendly room or apartment for you.

When booking a pet-friendly room from our online store, please add the pet fee under the “extras” section. Pet-friendly rooms are subject to availability.

Separate saunas for men and women are available for guests on the 7th floor. The saunas are heated daily from 7 PM to 9 PM.
