When you arrive to stay with us, you can collect your keys from the hotel reception. Our reception is open 24/7.

The distance from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Hotel Matts is approximately 30 kilometers. There is a direct train connection from the airport to Helsinki city center main railway station, where you can take a metro to Hotel Matts. The western exit of Matinkylä metro station leads directly to the hotel’s main entrance.

In addition to the train, bus line 600 and Finnair City Bus operate between the airport and Helsinki city center. From Kamppi, near the Helsinki central railway station, you can reach Matinkylä on several bus routes. Check the schedules for public transport using Helsinki Region Transport’s (HSL) Route Planner.

Hotel Matts is conveniently located near Länsiväylä and Ring II. If you are arriving by car, you can use our parking garage’s customer parking spaces, subject to availability (maximum height 2.4 m).

The entrance to the parking garage is at Suomenlahdentie 5 (the entrance to the Iso Omena shopping center parking garage). When entering, follow the P1 lane and turn at the roundabout according to the hotel sign. Hotel Matts’ parking spaces are located on level K2.

How to drive to Hotel Matts’ parking garage

The entrance to the parking garage is at Suomenlahdentie 5 (the entrance to the Iso Omena shopping center parking garage). In the parking garage, turn left at the roundabout following the Hotel Matts sign. The hotel’s parking spaces are on level K2.

Hotel Matts parking garage is equipped with EV charging points. You can charge your vehicle for an additional fee. You can easily manage the charging process with Aimo app.

Start charging

1. Connect the charger cable to the charging station and vehicle.
2. Start the charging with your Aimo app. The cable will be locked into place.

Stop charging

3. Stop the charging with your Aimo app. The cable will be released.
4. Disconnect the cable from the vehicle and charging station.

Time-based invoicing will continue until you stop the charging through the app. Please remember to pay the parking separately in accordance with the valid price list.

Breakfast is included in the room and apartment rates. A generous and varied breakfast buffet is served at Restaurant Freja, located on the first floor of the hotel.

0–2 years stays free of charge when sleeping in the parents’ bed or in a baby crib (baby crib can be reserved in our online store under “extras”).

3–5 years stays free of charge when sleeping in the parents’ bed.

6–12 years can stay in an extra bed for an additional fee in a Standard Family room.

Separate Room for Children

Two Standard rooms can be connected, providing separate rooms for parents and children, each with its own bathroom and entrance from the hallway. When the connecting door is open, you can enjoy a spacious shared area, or close the door for privacy in each room.

Pets are welcome to stay at Hotel Matts. Please inform us at the time of booking if you are bringing a pet so that we can reserve a pet-friendly room or apartment for you.

When booking a pet-friendly room from our online store, please add the pet fee under the “extras” section. Pet-friendly rooms are subject to availability.

Separate saunas for men and women are available for guests on the 7th floor. The saunas are heated daily from 7 PM to 10 PM.
