Tips for an Environmentally Considerate Restaurant Visit
1. Arrival
Whenever possible, arrive at the restaurant on foot, by bicycle or by public transport.
2. Food
Consider choosing vegetarian options. Our Nordic Swan Ecolabelled restaurants offer vegetarian dishes and meet the Nordic Swan Ecolabel requirements for organic products.
3. Food Waste
Our food is too good to waste! Only take as much food from the buffet as you can eat.
If you have food left over and taking it with you is possible, ask our staff for a suitable container. Sort the used packaging at home according to its material.
The amount of food waste at our Nordic Swan Ecolabelled restaurants is monitored, and measures are taken to reduce it. Guests’ choices also play an important role in reducing food waste.
4. Waste Sorting
Waste sorting facilities are available in our restaurants. Please remember to sort your waste correctly.
5. Good to Know
Our Nordic Swan Ecolabelled restaurants comply with Nordic Swan Ecolabel requirements concerning areas such as cleaning and dishwashing products, waste sorting, food waste monitoring and staff training.
