Our customers have the opportunity to influence the sustainability of their visit through their choices and actions. We have compiled responsible event tip lists for both event organizers and attendees in collaboration with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel
Tips for a Responsible Event Visit
1. Food
We serve more sustainable food, such as organic and vegetarian options. To help reduce food waste, please take only as much as you can eat.
2. Recycling
You may have noticed the sorting stations at the event venue. Please remember to sort your waste properly and avoid unnecessary consumption.
3. Accommodation
Choose eco-certified hotels when selecting accommodation for the event. These hotels take a comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility. Kassiopeia’s hotels —Hotel Levi Panorama, Hotel K5 Levi, and Hotel Matts—are all eco-labeled with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
4. Keep in Mind
Kassiopeia’s hotels, including their meeting facilities and the Levi Summit Event Center, are eco-certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. This certification means that energy consumption is reduced, more sustainable food options are provided, and the premises are cleaned in an eco-friendly manner. Please do your part by being mindful of the environment while in meeting rooms and the congress center.

Tips for Organizing a Responsible Event
1. Consumption
Be mindful of consumption by reducing unnecessary use of resources, such as minimizing paper usage.
2. Catering
Incorporate more sustainable food choices into your catering, and prioritize vegetarian options. Be sure to inform the catering service of the exact number of attendees to help prevent food waste.
3. Accommodation
If you are arranging accommodation for participants, choose eco-certified options. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel ensures that hotels take a comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility. 4. Printed Materials
If you need printed materials for your event, order eco-certified ones. This helps to minimize the environmental impact of printed products.
5. Guidance
Encourage participants in advance to use public transportation or carpool when traveling to the event.
5. Inform
Environmental considerations are comprehensively integrated into the meeting room or congress center you are using. Inform event staff and participants about the Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification of the venue and be mindful of the environment when organizing the meeting.
