Levi Summit Congress Centre has been awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and the Sustainable Travel Finland label. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel sets environmental requirements for the venue, and the STF label supports the development of sustainable tourism practices.

At Levi Summit, sustainability is considered in the planning and operation of our services.

Be Aware
This congress center is Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified. This means that the venue meets Nordic Swan Ecolabel criteria for areas such as energy use, cleaning products, waste and food service requirements. You can support these efforts by being mindful of your environmental impact during your visit.

Plant-based options are available, and organic products are used in selected dishes depending on availability. To help reduce food waste, please take only what you can finish.
Recycling
You may have noticed the recycling stations around the venue. Please sort your waste correctly and avoid unnecessary consumption whenever possible.

When booking accommodation for your event visit, choose hotels with environmental certifications. Kassiopeia’s Hotel Levi Panorama and Hotel K5 Levi are Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified hotels. The ecolabel sets requirements for areas such as energy, water, waste, chemicals and procurement.

Be mindful of unnecessary consumption. For example, reduce paper use whenever possible.

Choose plant-based options where suitable and provide the catering service with an accurate participant count to help reduce food waste.

If you’re arranging accommodation for participants, choose hotels with environmental certifications. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel shows that the hotel meets the ecolabel’s environmental criteria in areas such as energy, water, waste, chemicals and procurement.

If you need printed materials for your event, choose ecolabelled print products that meet recognised environmental criteria.
Transportation
Encourage participants in advance to use public transportation or carpool when arriving at the event.
