What to Do in Levi?

Experiences All Year Round
Lapland is known for its eight distinct seasons: the frosty winter, crusted snow spring, ice-breakup spring, the midnight sun, harvest season, autumn colours, first snow, and the Christmas polar night. The magical nature of Lapland offers unique experiences throughout the year.
During summer and autumn, Levi offers unforgettable experiences through hiking, golfing, and cycling. The Midnight Sun is the best-known natural phenomenon of the Lapland summer, when the sun does not set below the horizon at all during the day.
In autumn, Levi becomes vibrant with the colours of the Arctic fall foliage and the active Northern Lights season, creating spectacular scenery throughout nature.
The ski and cross-country skiing season usually begins as early as October and continues until mid-May. In addition to skiing, Levi offers activities such as husky safaris, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice karting, winter cycling, ice swimming, and reindeer experiences.
In spring, visitors can discover migratory birds along Levi’s nature trails, surrounded by fells, forests, and wetlands. Lapland provides a habitat for many Arctic and boreal bird species that are rarely seen elsewhere in Europe.
You can book excursions and activities directly through us — please contact our sales team for more information!
Samiland Exhibition
The Samiland Exhibition tells the story of the Sámi people’s thousands of years of history, culture, and mythology. Samiland is part of the UNESCO Observatory Cultural Village programme and consists of both indoor and outdoor exhibitions.
Samiland is located at the Levi Summit event centre.
