We have assessed the accessibility of the service ourselves.

The digital service meets most of the accessibility requirements.

1.4.1 Use of Color (A)

All websites covered by this statement use color as the only visual means to convey information, for example in links.

1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (AA)

All websites have insufficient contrast in certain elements, such as:

  • Light brown link on white background
  • Dark brown link on white background
  • Dark brown link on gray background
  • White text on light brown background
  • Light brown button with white text
  • Breadcrumb text
1.4.10 Reflow (AA)

Kassiopeia: Bidirectional scrolling is triggered at a width of 320 pixels and height of 256 pixels. Elements partially overlap, which may affect usability, e.g., in the navigation or booking engine.

1.4.11 Non-text Contrast (AA)

Hotel Matts, Levi Panorama: UI components such as the light brown arrow for opening submenus have insufficient contrast.

2.1 Keyboard Accessible

2.1.1 Keyboard (A)

All websites have issues with keyboard operability, for example:

  • Navigation focus does not attach to the Kassiopeia menu, language menu, or top-level navigation links with subpages.
  • Accordion elements on hotel contact pages do not open with the keyboard.
  • The “Full Hotel Matts Experience” section on the Hotel Matts homepage cannot be fully browsed with keyboard.
  • Search filters on “Restaurants” and “Rentable Spaces” pages only focus on the first search criterion.
  • Some forms include a date picker that is not accessible.

2.4 Navigable

Kassiopeia, K5 Levi: Some links lack clear labels, e.g., “Read more”, “Explore and book online”, or “See tips”.

2.4.5 Multiple Ways (AA)

None of the sites offer multiple ways to locate a specific page within the website.

4. Robust

4.1 Compatible

4.1.1 Parsing (A)

All websites contain validation errors.

4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A)

All websites lack proper semantic markup, for example:

  • Navigation components lack accessible names.
  • Gallery navigation buttons on “Rooms” pages are not programmatically recognized as buttons.
  • The “Restaurant Opening Hours” link on hotel homepages is not programmatically a button.
  • The “Show more” link on the “Rentable Spaces” page is not programmatically a button.

In addition to the listed issues, the websites include third-party functionalities (e.g., room booking, gift card purchases, Levi Panorama activity shop), which may have accessibility barriers. For instance, booking functionalities may present keyboard navigation and keyboard trap issues (criteria 2.4.3 and 2.1.2). Assistance for booking can be provided via sales service or on site.

Some forms also use ReCAPTCHA for spam prevention.

We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our digital services. The issues listed in this statement are on our remediation list. The accessibility of the site will be reassessed within one year from the publication of this statement.

Third-party features will be made accessible within the transitional period.
