We Have the Nordic Swan Ecolabel & the Sustainable Travel Finland label

The Joutsenmerkki (The Nordic Swan Ecolabel) for environmental work was awarded to Restaurant Freja and Hotel Matts in early 2024. The label is granted by Ympäristömerkintä Suomi Oy (The Finnish Ecolabel).

Restaurant Freja and Hotel Matts achieved the Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) label in the spring of 2025. The Sustainable Travel Finland label is based on Visit Finland’s sustainable tourism programme and its criteria, which guide development in areas such as environmental responsibility, local engagement, customer experience, and employee well-being. The STF label is granted by Visit Finland.
